The Tukura family hails from Sabon Gida Tukura, Kurmi Local Government in Taraba State. Beauty Etsanyi Tukura was born to the Family of Mr. and Mrs. Danladi Haruna Tukura in the city of Port Harcourt, Nigeria on the on 21st of October 1997. She is the last child of her Parents with three siblings. Beauty heralded the 43rd Miss Nigeria and consequently, the first girl to win the National Pageantry from the Northern Nigerian extraction.

Early Life and Education

At age two, her family relocated to Badagry, Lagos where she was raised. Beauty attended Javy Model Children School, Ibereko, Badagry, Lagos where her journey to being the Beauty Queen started as she won the beauty contest in her Primary School to become the first Miss Javy before graduating in 2007. She underwent her Junior Secondary School education at Nigerian Navy Secondary School Ojo, Lagos where as a result of some health challenges she had to change her school to commence her Senior Secondary School education at The American University of Nigeria Academy, Yola, Nigeria where she won 5 subject awards on her graduation in 2014 amongst which are, Literature in English, History, and Christian Religious Knowledge. Beauty was constantly ranked first, second, and third position with an average score ranging from 85.56% to 91.78%. Beauty Tukura is a recent Graduate of the prestigious Afe Babalola University and was conferred with the Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2019. Beauty underwent the Arbitration training for Associates conducted by Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and was inducted as an Associate of the Institute in 2018.

Awards and Recognition

As a Student of the American University of Nigeria Academy, Yola, Beauty Tukura received two merit academic awards for her outstanding performance in 2012 and for participation in inter-school literary and debate club competition in 2014. She also received four sport awards for her meritorious and exceptional service to sport development in both 2014 and 2013. Her valuable impact to the Academy's Basketball League competition was recognized in 2013 while in 2015 she was awarded in appreciation for her valuable contributions to the Academy’s Premier League as a committee member. Beauty received two social awards in recognizing her valuable contributions to the Academy's Dance Group in 2012 and for her meritorious service as Social Perfect. In character, she won the Behavioural Award as the Best Behaved Female Student in 2013. As the Chief Organizer, she was awarded in appreciation for her outstanding performance and lasting contribution to the growth and development of Unity Chapel in 2014. In 2013, to give further credence to the foregoing awards and recognition, Beauty was described by her Class Teacher as thus: “Beauty has outstanding knowledge of all her taught subjects. She is well behaved and takes every aspect of her academics serious. As an active member of the Press Club, she demonstrates exemplary scholarship and writes fascinating stories. Also, she is one of the School's representatives during debating sessions. She is equally efficient in handling social activities together with the head of activities. She is respectful.”


Beauty Tukura had always envisioned being a model, and aspired to be the Miss Nigeria someday. The conviction in her aspirations was first expressed practically when Beauty Tukura won the beauty contest as a Primary School Pupil in Primary Six to emerge the first Miss Javy. In 2015, Beauty was crowned The Most Beautiful Girl in Taraba. As Miss Taraba, she executed a number of projects during her reign which included: visitations to the Orphanage Homes and Juvenile Prison to encourage the Juvenile Inmates and give them hope about life. She embarked on a University Tour where she organized Seminars and spoke on different themes affecting the youths. Beauty reigned as Miss Taraba till 2017. The hallmark of her Pageantry strides began in 2019 when she contested for the Miss Nigeria Pageantry which had always been her childhood dream alongside thirty-seven other participants. The modeling career of the Former Miss Taraba climaxed when she was crowned the 43rd Miss Nigeria having emerged the winner at the National Beauty Contest amongst other contestants. Her victory was widely welcomed in her home state on her homecoming, and her one-year tenure promises to embark on goodwill trips, various projects and scheduled appearances on behalf of the pageant.

Personal Life

The 43rd Miss Nigeria is an Entrepreneur, she manages an online business known as StylishBeauty where she retails original branded items from various designers all around the world. Aside being an Entrepreneur and the Owner of StylishBeauty, Beauty is an enthusiast for Skincare. Her interest in fashion spurred the desire to own an online business that focuses on fashion in 2019. She is a distributor of top fashion designs as she receives supplies from top fashion brands around the world.
