Even if celebrities have learned their lessons and won’t be endorsing any candidate publicly, that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t vote.
With many of them living in Nigeria, the least they can do is go out to exercise their duty and right to vote.
Like last time (2019) when we saw a lot of them go out on election day, there’s a good chance that 2023 is going to be even more grand with many others going out to the polls.
Who do you think your favorite artists have the tendency of voting for President? Here is a list of ten popular artists and the candidates we think they might vote for, purely based on speculation.
1. Davido
OBO is politically active and he supported his uncle for Governor of Osun State in 2019. He also supported the Atiku-Obi ticket of PDP in that year.
This time around, there’s no reason he would change, since his family is still very much PDP people. He’s most likely voting Atiku-Wike.
2. Olamide
3. Don Jazzy
4. Wizkid
WizKid definitely won’t tell anyone to go and vote for anyone. If he’s in Nigeria at the time of the elections, though, he will most likely go out to vote too.
As a proud Lagos boy, I don’t see Wizkid voting for anyone other than Tinubu.
5. Falz
Falz is not only the son of Femi Falana but he himself is an activist and has been critical of the past regimes.
Based on that, he will most likely gravitate towards a candidate who isn’t from any of the two big parties. So, Peter Obi of Labour Party, for sure.
6. Phyno
Nothing to see here, honestly. If you’re from Enugu, you’ll probably vote for Peter Obi too. You can’t expect Phyno to leave his brother and vote for some other guys who have bad PR.
7. Burna Boy
If the current Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike supports Atiku, then Burna Boy will most likely vote PDP for President.
8. Vector the Viper
Naturally, you’d imagine that as a very proud Lagosian, Vector will be leaning towards a Tinubu presidency.
9. Brymo
Brymo has already declared his support for Tinubu, saying a “City Boy” should be president for once. This means, yes, he’s definitely voting Asiwaju.
10. Kizz Daniel
It’s between Atiku and Peter Obi for Kizz Daniel, to be honest. Because who isn’t tired of this APC regime?
Between Atiku and Peter Obi, Kizz Daniel seems like he’d lean towards Atiku more because he has a bigger chance of winning than Peter Obi does.
